Tambew uses the TDR2 system of Testconsult of the UK. This incorporates both time and frequency domain examination of the stress wave in the pile for best identification of any discontinuities in a pile’s integrity.
The test can also check the depth to which piles have been installed, up to approximately 30m deep.
The test is sufficiently easy to do so that all piles on a site can be tested in this way.
